It's here - my last outfit post from Dallas and it involves two of my favorite things: holiday and sequins to create a holiday party outfit. It's crazy to think that I've now been in Los Angeles for a month. It has been an exciting time and I'm looking forward to the exciting things that this city will bring (including some awesome photoshoot locations).

Finding the perfect holiday party outfit is so much fun. There's no such thing as overdoing it with glitter, sequins and red. These are all things that clearly inspired today's post. I know that it can be tempting to use the holidays as an excuse to go out and buy new outfits, but I suggest you play around with separates you already have. Instead, you can save your money for gifts and holiday decor. I know we always think there's nothing to wear in our closets, but if you go into it with an open mind, I guarantee you that you'll put together some looks that you haven't tried before.

Nothing in this holiday party outfit is new, which is why I have linked the items above to similar items. You might recognize this Kendra Scott cuff from my first holiday outfit post or the Sam Edelman shoes from my coated denim and leopard print post that y'all know I'm so obsessed with. The sequin top is from Velvet by Graham and Spencer from a few seasons back and the Kate Spade pencil skirt is almost three years old. These two items are investment pieces so to speak. When you find the perfect red pencil skirt - buy it. It's timeless and I can assure you it'll at a little pep in your step.
